description

POST-PANDEMIC CHURCH ENGAGEMENT is a course offering to map the nation’s changing Christian religious landscape. Discussing quantitative components that identifies broad US trends in comparison to the qualitative work of Pastor’s in the faith-based Communities in their congregation, organization structures locally.

The Post-Pandemic Church Engagement Course will foster a greater understanding to how congregations’ staff to fulfill their local visions, missions, and to learn how congregational leaders understand the nature of their ministry today.

“Divine Connections” will be a key component to Post-Pandemic Church engagement, sharing a variety of Christian traditions and contexts. For our analysis we will use the following framework that have impacted congregations:

Long-term member loss in churches.

Church Attendance. It is a bait of Satan for parishioners to resolve to online church solely. There’s a skewed distribution in church attendance in which most people attend large churches while most churches are small.

A Pandemic-induced movement from brick-and-mortar spaces to online spaces. This Post-Pandemic Church Engagement Course analysis will reveal the consequential impacts of these three trends on congregations and their leaders, and some of the essential skills needed for effective REBOOT church congregants and church operations during this “wilderness moment,” a liminal time in the life of the church. The student will see these impacts not only as responses to external pressures but also as signs of internal REimagined.

Understanding these dynamics is crucial for developing effective strategies for church congregants, staffing and for preparing future congregational leaders that can adapt to the future needs of ministry according to the Acts 2 Church and the Great Commission of Matthew 28.
